Nicole Miller, MA, LPCC

Nicole (she/her) graduated with an MA from The Ohio State University’s Counselor Education program in 2018. Her clinical experience during this time included working with students at Ohio Wesleyan University’s Counseling Center and treating clients through a private practice in Columbus.

During her career as a clinician, Nicole has had a variety of roles, including seeing adolescents and adults in a private practice setting, treating adults in mental health and dual diagnosis Intensive Outpatient groups, and treating adolescents and adults in a Community Mental Health setting. Nicole is passionate about improving access to care, and has provided pro bono counseling through Mental Health America’s Pro Bono Counseling Program.

Nicole believes in providing individualized care, and she caters treatment to client needs. She believes in providing a safe and supportive space where clients explore issues and work towards resolving these issues in a way that is in line with their specific goals and values. Nicole has experience working with a variety of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship concerns, and trauma. Nicole is trained in EMDR and utilizes this in treatment of trauma when clinically appropriate.

When Nicole is not at work, she enjoys savoring nice weather, painting or creating in other ways, spending time with her tenacious daughter, and listening to/talking about/thinking about Taylor Swift.
